Megan Wilson
Special Educator, Adaptive Technology Specialist,
Apple Distinguished Educator & Mobile Learning Advocate
Meg Wilson is a special education teacher and assistive technology specialist with a passion for educating others on the importance of individualizing instruction for all students. She is a certified special educator for K-12 and holds Masters degrees in both Business Administration and Special Education (Assistive Technology). Meg currently teaches at Amity Middle School Orange in southern Connecticut. Just recently, Apple, Inc. honored her as an Apple Distinguished Educator, Class of 2011.
Meg presents at local, statewide, and national conferences in order to offer professional development opportunities for other educators to learn about using iPods, iPhones, and iPads in the classroom. She blogs regularly at iPodsibilities.com, IEAR.org, and EdReach.us about special education and mobile learning devices, app reviews, and other resources for educators. Meg recently began hosting the MacReach weekly show on EdReach.us, where she talks all things Apple each Thursday night.
